Can I get digitals done in Phoenix and submit to agencies in other cities?

Absolutely! The benefit of getting digitals done with me when I travel is that it saves you money by not forcing you to have to move or travel to get these shots done. Agencies don’t care where you’re from they care about if you have a sellable look. You can move after they express interest in signing you.

When is it the right time to get digitals done?

The best time to get your digitals done is the moment you are ready to get signed and start working.

Can I be too short or too fat to be a model?

No. Anyone can be a model… however, there is a difference between modeling for a print/talent agency and modeling for a fashion agency. I go over this on one of my popular videos on TikTok here. You might have to adjust your expectations though, but anyone can be a model.

Will these digitals get me signed?

While getting professional modeling digitals has a higher chance of getting you signed, ultimately nothing can guarantee you getting signed (unless you’re the child of a celebrity) since it’s entirely decided upon each agency individually. But you can rest assured to know that a modeling digital session with me will be the MOST you can do to ensure a positive outcome.

How can I prepare for my model digitals session?

Upon booking your session, you will receive a confirmation email to the model digitals checklist. You will have to review the information on there to prepare for your session with me. You can also always reference my TikTok, blogs, and video content on my site to prepare for your session as well.

Can I film and create content on the day of our model digitals session?

You are 100% encouraged to film and create content on the day of your session. Usually, I do for TikTok and Instagram anyway ;)

Are you looking to get signed to a modeling agency? Here’s what’s going to happen: You’ll submit yourself online or go into an open call at an agencies office. If you get signed you will be placed on their development board which is basically where all the new models go and they have a section on their website called “new faces” or “development” for both male and female models.

During this stage your agency will send you out to get what’s called “test shoots” with photographers they have on a list to build your portfolio up. Often times though because these photographers are shooting for free the images you are getting are going to be only what is useful for them, not for you. They aren’t experts at coaching and developing models, so you might spend months in this phase doing “shoots” that may make you feel like you’re “modeling,” but you’re really not actually working or making money.

You need a modeling portfolio and strong digitals as soon as you get signed so you can start working immediately.

You can save so much time by coming to me first. I develop models 360. We work together to first understand the following:

What kind of model are you? A fashion model or a commercial model? Or can you do both?
What kind of brands would be interested in your look?
Then I have you do homework to research the kind of brands that have models that look like you and save their images for reference.
We then plan to recreate ad campaigns images for your paid test with me that look like they’re from these brands.
During the session, I develop and teach you what modeling is all about. If it’s a fashion brand- how to model for fashion or if it’s a commercial brand- how to model for commercial. I also pull out your strengths, reveal your weaknesses, and affirm your angles and strongest features to lead with going forward.
On top of that during our session we discuss the business side of modeling. Whether it’s an actor or a model, every artist who enters my presence will get a spiel on how to approach their career as a business because so even know to do so and I am interested in changing that to have you achieve the highest possibility for success in this very difficult business.
