What are modeling digitals?
Your modeling digitals are simple, unretouched photos that show agencies exactly what you look like naturally. They're fundamentally your modeling resume in visual form. You'll need them to apply to agencies, submit for castings, and maintain an updated portfolio as your look evolves. At Brandon Andre Photography, we'll capture these vital images with the precision agencies demand.
Modeling digitals are one of the most important tools for getting signed by a modeling agency. Whether you're submitting to a top agency or a local one, they all require clean, natural images that show your face, physique, and presence — no heavy makeup, no distractions, just great lighting and simple outfits.
While it's possible to take them on a phone, most models see better results working with a professional photographer who can guide them into the exact poses agencies want to see.

No — modeling digitals are meant to be raw and natural, exactly how agencies request them. However, you can add the “Digital Selects” option for $15 when booking. With that upgrade, Brandon will personally select the strongest images from your session and lightly enhance them (removing discoloration) for a more polished, agency-ready presentation. If you don’t choose this add-on, you’ll receive all raw, unedited images straight from the camera.
-
If you have a few temporary blemishes, it’s fine — you can wear light concealer if needed. But if you’re experiencing a major breakout, it’s best to reschedule so you can show your skin at its best. Please note: there are no refunds once your session is booked, but you may reschedule once, as long as it’s at least 24 hours in advance.
-
You’re allowed one reschedule as long as you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a rebooking fee. Full details are shared in your confirmation email.

If you're actively pursuing modeling work in San Francisco, having current digitals is vital as agencies need to present clients with accurate representations of how you look right now.
-
While you could attempt self-taken digitals, agencies can immediately spot amateur photos. Portfolio Development: Taking Your Modeling Career to the Next Level
You're standing at a critical crossroads in your modeling career, and those basic smartphone selfies simply won't cut it anymore. Professional modeling digitals serve as your industry calling card—the raw, honest representation that agencies scrutinize before deciding whether to invest in your potential. Without a polished portfolio featuring clean, well-lit digitals that highlight your natural features and proportions, you're fundamentally invisible to the modeling world.
Our studio options provide the perfect environment to capture these crucial images that emphasize your unique attributes without excessive styling or distracting elements.
When you're developing your modeling portfolio, the quality of your digitals directly impacts which doors will open for you. Each image needs to tell casting directors exactly what they're getting—your true skin tone, accurate body proportions, and genuine facial structure under professional lighting conditions. We meticulously photograph you from multiple angles (front, profile, 3/4 view, full body) with minimal makeup and simple clothing to create the thorough set of digitals agencies demand.
Whether you're pursuing commercial, fashion, or fitness modeling in the Jackson area, you'll receive images that meet industry standards while still allowing your personality to shine through.
Your portfolio isn't static—it's a living document that should evolve as you grow professionally. As seasons change, as you refine your look, or as you target different markets, you'll need to refresh your digitals to stay competitive. Many successful models update their portfolios quarterly to highlight new looks, recent physical changes, or emerging strengths.
We'll work with you to understand your specific goals, whether you're just starting out or need to modernize an existing portfolio. The combination of our studio's controlled environment and natural light options gives you versatility in your presentation, creating a well-rounded portfolio that's ready to impress agencies and clients throughout Jackson and beyond.
Why Are Agency-Approved Digitals Vital for Your Modeling Career?

At Brandon Andre Photography Partners, you're getting more than just photos; you're investing in digitals shot by someone actively working in fashion photography who knows exactly what makes agents say "yes."
The difference between standard headshots and agency-approved digitals can determine whether your portfolio lands on an agent's desk or in their trash folder. Your modeling path deserves the best possible start with images that truly highlight your potential. Brandon Andre Photography Partners deliver digitals that meet strict agency standards because:
They accentuate your natural features without excessive editing
