Actors Headshot Checklist

1. All of my clients are required to watch this video that goes over the acting headshot session details: Acting Headshots Info this will tell you everything you need to know about your session. For teen and child actor FAQs please review them here: kids + teens headshots

2. ALL actors, male and female, MUST come to session with foundation makeup on. If you are a male actor (watch this male makeup tutorial) and this is uncharted territory, go to your closest Sephora, tell an employee that you need foundation and a sponge for a photoshoot and that you need help finding your color, and purchase the most inexpensive product. Have someone apply it for you prior to arriving to the session. Please watch this video for a specific makeup guide for females.

3. As you are putting together your looks please take a look at my acting headshot wardrobe guide I made for both male actors and female actors that contains some style references and inspo.

4. I always encourage actors to send me their headshot looks via text message before the date of the session, so send me selfies with your outfits on to ensure all of the looks are pre-approved.

5. Please read this article on things you should avoid at your headshot session. You’ll be happy to avoid making these common mistakes.
